Key Club is committed to creating an inclusive career-development community and providing website content, registration processes, membership information, workshops, and resources that are accessible to people with disabilities.
We are continually working to improve our digital accessibility and aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our accessibility standard.
Our Accessibility Efforts
Our efforts include:
- Improving keyboard navigation and focus management
- Using a logical heading structure on each page
- Improving text readability and color contrast
- Adding visible labels to all form fields
- Adding visible focus indicators throughout the site
- Adding meaningful image descriptions (alt text)
- Working toward video captions and transcripts
- Improving mobile accessibility and tap target sizes
- Making membership and cancellation information clearly accessible
- Providing the weekly schedule in accessible text format with calendar links
- Allowing browser and mobile zoom without restriction
Requesting Accommodations
Members and workshop participants may request reasonable accessibility accommodations. These may include:
- Captioning for live sessions or recorded content
- Accessible digital materials
- Additional time to review information
- Alternative document formats
- Other reasonable adjustments based on the program and request
Third-Party Platforms
Some community, video-conferencing, payment, calendar, or third-party platforms used by Key Club may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. We will make reasonable efforts to help users access an alternative when a barrier is reported.
